REHEARSAL PROGRAMME

Regular rehearsals are held in the hall of Durrington Junior School, Bulford Road, Durrington. SP4 8DL, from 7.00pm until 8.15pm, on Wednesday evenings, during school term time.

There will be no rehearsals between 17^th December and 31^st December, inclusive.  Restart is on 7^th January 2009. 

2009

There will be no rehearsal on 18^th February.

Summer Term rehearsals will start on 22^rd April and the last one will be on 22^nd July.  There will not be a rehearsal on 27^th May. 

Concerts  

The Band will play outside Waitrose Supermarket, in Salisbury, on Wednesday 3^rd December from 6.00pm 

Durrington Village Carol Evening, on Friday 5^th December, will be accompanied by the Band and we will contribute two Christmas pieces to the programme.

A Concert, with an Auction of Promises as its centrepiece, will be held on Saturday, 7^th, March in Durrington Village Hall.

Visit of the Grafelde Fire Brigade Band from Germany, 3^rd – 7^th April

Following a very successful visit to Germany in 2008, in 2009 we are to be the hosts of the Grafelde Band. This band has already celebrated its 100 years anniversary.  We very much look forward to playing together again and sharing this with the local area.
A Concert has been arranged for Sunday, 5^th April in the Hall of Avon Valley College at 7.30pm and, weather permitting, we shall play for a short while in the Market Place, Salisbury at lunch-time on Monday, 6^th April.  If wet, we will play in St Thomas’s Church, instead.
